About the Role

1XL Infra is seeking a qualified
Procurement & Cost Optimisation Officer
to manage end-to-end procurement activities while driving cost-efficiency initiatives across the organisation. The role is responsible for ensuring that procurement processes are efficient, transparent, and fully compliant with company policies and UAE regulations, while continuously identifying opportunities to enhance supplier performance and operational value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete procurement cycle including sourcing, RFQs, bid evaluation, negotiation, and purchase order issuance
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality standards, and timely delivery
  • Analyse organisational spend to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
  • Develop and implement cost optimisation strategies without compromising quality or operational efficiency
  • Conduct market research, benchmarking, and price comparisons to support informed procurement decisions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers
  • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, service levels, and compliance metrics
  • Support contract negotiations, renewals, and supplier performance reviews
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Projects, and other departments to align procurement activities with business needs
  • Prepare procurement reports, cost-saving summaries, and supplier performance dashboards

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • 3–4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or cost optimisation roles (UAE experience required)
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor evaluation
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office tools
  • Knowledge of UAE market pricing and regulatory requirements is an advantage
