Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a Kitchen Lead. The Kitchen Lead will oversee food preparation, ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards, and manage daily kitchen operations. Additionally, responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating with suppliers for ingredient sourcing, and maintaining product quality. The Kitchen Lead will also handle logistical aspects such as inventory management and contribute to continuous improvement of kitchen processes.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Food Preparation and Cooking with attention to consistency and quality
  • Knowledge of Hygiene and food safety standards, ensuring compliance in every aspect of kitchen operations
  • Strong Communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with the kitchen team
  • Customer Service orientation to ensure product satisfaction and address inquiries if needed
  • Leadership skills to manage and motivate the team, along with organizational skills to oversee inventory and sourcing
  • Experience in artisanal or handcrafted food production is a plus
  • Formal training or certification in culinary arts is beneficial
