Office Assistant – Job Description

Position: Office Assistant

Location: Al Rigga , Deira , Dubai

Job Type: Full-time from 9AM to 6 PM

Working Days : Monday to Friday

Job Summary:

The Office Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role involves handling day-to-day office tasks, assisting staff and management, and maintaining a professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize office files, documents, and correspondence.
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and deliveries.
  • Assist in preparing reports, memos, and other documents.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
  • Coordinate appointments, meetings, and schedules.
  • Support HR and accounting departments with basic administrative tasks.
  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner.
  • Ensure the office is clean, well-organized, and presentable.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or degree in business administration preferred.
  • Proven experience as an office assistant, clerk, or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Salary:

  • Salary range from 2500 AED to 3000 AED

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to AED3,000.00 per month
