The opportunity
As a Specialist in Tooling Operations at Core42, you will play a pivotal role in advancing AI-powered cloud and digital infrastructure solutions for clients with complex regulatory and performance demands. This position centers on designing, implementing, and maintaining OpenText NOM solutions, as well as integrating customized monitoring and tooling into existing systems. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for translating client requirements into innovative, high-quality solutions that enhance operational efficiency and align with Core42's mission to lead digital transformation across the Middle East and beyond. Success in this role will require strong technical expertise, creativity in developing tailored solutions, and a collaborative approach to achieving project goals on time and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain OpenText NOM solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Gather client requirements, Design/develop creative solutions.
• Integrate solutions into existing architecture/system.
• Analyze client requirements and develop superior solutions.
• Manage scope-of-work deliverables and meet/exceed client expectations.
• Work collaboratively, fulfil commitments, and meet deadlines.
• Deliver quality Custom Monitoring solutions.
• Develop testing and implementation Monitoring solutions.
• Create accurate operating procedures.
• Develop software/system documentation/training plans.
• Implement continuous improvement and technology refresh templates.
• Develop software performance enhancements and solicit feedback from client on quality of product/solution.
• Manage and quickly solve problems.
• Implement security controls.
• Adhere to the organizational/team member goals, standards, and success measures.
• Work collaboratively with organizational peers.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and serve as a professional mentor.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to NOM Modules and integrated tools.
• Develop and execute scripts for automation and integration with other IT management tools.
• Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with OpenText updates, Upgrades and best practices.
• Document configurations, processes, and procedures related to NOM implementation.
• Should be able to handle all the BAU activities in OpenText NOM

Qualifications
What we're looking for

• Required skills / qualifications
• Experience on administration, installation/upgrade, and configuration of NNMI and NA
• Expert in NA integration with NNMi.
• Working Knowledge on LDAP integration with NOM and OO
• Expert in configuring and customizing Network reports
• Working knowledge on configuring/extracting and automating reports as part of client's requirement from NNMi and NA
• Working knowledge on installing device driver pack in NA
• Working knowledge on Patching/upgradation of NA.
• Working knowledge of Optic Data lake and related integrations.
• Experience in troubleshooting application related issues.
• Knowledge of NPS and NA for various automation requirements.
• Knowledge of performing health checks & providing reports of the tools.
• Knowledge of monitoring techniques like SNMP, SNMP Traps, SSH etc.
• Experience in creating scripts for pushing configuration changes or upgrades/patch-fix on devices through NA.
• Hands-on experience in any one of scripting – Perl, Python, Unix/Linux Shell scripting, PowerShell scripting etc.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and applications.
• uCMDB and OBM Certification are added advantages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Preferred skills / qualifications
• Configure/Customize OpenText OO
• Develop Workflows and Custom Activities in OpenText OO
• Strong Experience is Implementation and Administration of OpenText OO
• Experience in Creating Third Party Integrations using OpenText OO
• Experience in Implementation OO in HA
• Experience with OpenText ITOM suite (e.g., SiteScope, OMI, Optic, uCMDB).
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and their monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.
