The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage the company's receivables and support day-to-day finance operations across the UAE and KSA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue invoices in line with contracts and company policies.
  • Monitor receivables, maintain aging reports, and ensure timely collection through consistent follow-ups.
  • Handle client coordination for payment confirmations, reconciliations, and invoice clarifications.
  • Accurately record receipts and update client accounts in the system.
  • Manage client portals for invoice submissions and payment tracking.
  • Prepare receivables reports and dashboards highlighting collection performance and risks.
  • Support finance operations including general ledger posting, journal entries, reconciliations, and accounts payable as needed.
  • Ensure VAT compliance for UAE and KSA and assist with filings and documentation.
  • Coordinate with banks, clients, auditors, and internal teams for smooth financial operations.
  • Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings and audits.
  • Act as backup to the Senior Accountant and support the Financial Controller and management in financial reporting and cash flow updates.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on accounts receivable and general ledger management.
  • Proven experience working with Xero Accounting Software (preferrable).
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, VAT regulations (UAE & KSA), and general accounting principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Arabic speakers preferred due to client coordination and regional communication requirements.
