Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Estimation Engineer based in Dubai. The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), conducting project cost estimations, and performing market research to support pricing strategies. Day-to-day tasks will also include evaluating engineering specifications, collaborating with internal teams, and engaging in client or vendor negotiations. The role requires precise attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of Electrical & Automation engineering concepts.

Qualifications

  • Experience in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and executing comprehensive Project Estimations
  • Knowledge and expertise in Electrical & Automation Engineering principles and their practical applications
  • Strong skills in Negotiation and the ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to conduct detailed Research to support accurate cost estimation and project feasibility
  • Proficiency in relevant estimation software and strong analytical skills are highly desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive work approach
  • Experience in the Energy, Oil & Gas or Utilities sectors is a must
