Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant with basics knowledge in Project System Finance (PS is an advantage) to support ongoing business operations, lead enhancements, and contribute to continuous improvement across our financial landscape. The consultant will work closely with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to design solutions, resolve system issues, manage configurations, and ensure smooth integration between FICO and other SAP modules.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead functional design, configuration, and support across SAP FICO (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Tax).
  • Support Project System finance processes including project creation, budgeting, cost planning, settlement, and integration with FI/CO is an advantage.
  • Handle end-to-end analysis and resolution of incidents, change requests, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between finance requirements and system capabilities.
  • Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements, validate business processes, and define solution designs.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing support.
  • Ensure proper documentation for configurations, processes, and training materials.
  • Work closely with technical teams to deliver quality developments and troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Participate in implementation, migration, and rollout projects as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and standard SAP best practices.

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • SAP Certification in FICO
  • SAP Certification in PS is an advantage.
  • 5–10 years of total IT experience, with at least 5–8 years in SAP FICO Consultant.

Required Expertise:

  • Strong hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant (S/4HANA 2023 Fiori is preferred).
  • Deep understanding of core FICO processes: GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking, Tax, and Closing activities.
  • Basic knowledge with Project System (PS) Finance, including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) creation
  • Cost planning
  • Ability to write clear functional specifications for developers.
  • Strong understanding of integration points with MM, SD, PS, and HR modules.
  • Experience working with Fiori apps in S/4HANA is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with MBC, Treasury, or DOA is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
