Senior Site Architects - Site Supervision

Looking for highly skilled and experienced senior architects

to oversee high-rise residential towers and horizontal development projects (standalone villas and townhouses). As an architect, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of the project, adhering to design specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage the construction and design processes for tower and villa projects, ensuring effective coordination with site teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

  2. Assess technical submittals, including shop drawings and material submissions, to ensure compliance with the specifications and contractual drawings.

  3. Conduct site visits to coordinate with contractors and address any discrepancies that may arise between the design specifications/drawings and the actual construction work.

  4. Select the most suitable materials that align with the intended design objectives of the project.

  5. Review mockups prior to initiating bulk installations to ensure quality and adherence to design standards.

  6. Supervise the construction process to guarantee that all work is consistent with the approved designs and specifications.

  7. Facilitate coordination among various project stakeholders, including clients, design teams, contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.

  8. Maintain effective communication with the project team to promptly resolve issues and address any concerns that may arise.

  9. Lead technical meetings and provide updates to stakeholders as necessary, while preparing minutes of meetings (MOMs) to document discussions and decisions.

  10. Senior architects are responsible for mentoring junior architects in accordance with project requirements and professional development needs.

  11. Document lessons learned as part of a knowledge management initiative to enhance future project performance.

  12. Address minor design challenges and manage design modifications to accommodate site-specific conditions effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or in Interior Design
  • Professional license with authority preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years (overall) and 5 years of experience in residential projects in Dubai
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and practices
  • Proficiency in project design software like CAD, Sketchup, BIM, etc…
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
