Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior AML Compliance Officer with expertise in exchange operations, based in Abu Dhabi. The role involves monitoring and ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, performing due diligence on clients and transactions, and implementing measures to prevent money laundering and sanction breaches. The Senior AML Compliance Officer will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing compliance reports, and providing recommendations to enhance regulatory adherence. Strong communication and collaboration with internal teams to address compliance concerns and risks are also key aspects of this position.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to evaluate complex data sets
  • Thorough knowledge of Sanction compliance regulations and practices
  • Proficiency in Finance-related concepts and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Expertise in conducting Due Diligence processes and assessments
  • A CAMS certification is required
  • Proven experience in AML compliance within exchange and financial services settings
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tasks efficiently in a team-oriented environment
