Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Engineer based in Abu Dhabi. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining software systems with a focus on back-end web development and software architecture. The role includes working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, implementing scalable solutions, and ensuring the performance and security of the applications developed. The candidate will also mentor junior developers and contribute to improving engineering practices and processes within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
  • Expertise in Back-End Web Development and Software Development with hands-on experience in large-scale systems.
  • Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Proven experience with coding and debugging in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
