We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth within the Abu Dhabi and Dubai regions. This position focuses on business development strategies for projects, contracting, and marine-related works, including isolation materials, infrastructure, and material supply. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing projects, understanding the construction sector, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders such as government entities, contractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies focusing on 
    projects, contracting
    , and 
    marine-related jobs
     across Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
  • Manage and prioritize project and contracting activities across both regions with a split schedule to ensure efficiency.
  • Cultivate and maintain a strong project pipeline by engaging with 
    government entities, semi-government organizations, consultants
    , and 
    main contractors
    .
  • Drive business growth in 
    isolation materials (heat resistance)

    infrastructure

    marine works

    building construction
    , and 
    material supply
    .
  • Identify new market opportunities in both 
    marine
     and 
    construction sectors
    , building strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee and coordinate business development activities related to 
    Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP)
     services.
  • Work closely with contracts, estimation, procurement, and technical teams to develop competitive proposals that meet client expectations and align with project scope.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust business strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery of contracted projects.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the Managing Director regarding business development progress, challenges, and market insights.
  • Meet assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue goals of the company.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, and customer service in all business dealings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of UAE experience
    in business development within the construction, marine, and contracting sectors.
  • Proven track record in successfully handling projects related to marine works, infrastructure, and MEP services.
  • Strong experience working with government entities, contractors, consultants, and suppliers in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai markets.
  • Strong understanding of marine-related works, including marine infrastructure, offshore projects, and marine material supply.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong ability to develop and present competitive technical and commercial proposals.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects across different locations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle split schedules effectively.
  • Knowledge of contract management, project scope definition, and client requirements.
  • Proficiency in both English (Arabic is a plus).

  • UAE driving license is mandatory.
