Role Description

Site-Level Accounting & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of daily site expenses, petty cash, vendor bills, and purchase orders.
  • Process supplier invoices, and ensure proper documentation for all project-related transactions.
  • Monitor project budgets, track cost-to-complete, and highlight variances to the Project Manager and Finance Manager.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly expense statements and submit reports to the head office.

Payments & Reconciliations

  • Manage petty cash disbursements and ensure timely replenishments.
  • Assist in processing payments to contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Perform bank, supplier, and project cost reconciliations.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all accounting processes comply with internal controls and financial policies.
  • Maintain organized records for audits and internal reviews.
  • Support VAT compliance (input/output VAT tracking, preparation of summaries, supporting documents).

Coordination & Support

  • Liaise with procurement, site engineers, and project managers for billing verification and approvals.
  • Support monthly closing activities and coordinate with the Finance team.
  • Assist in preparing financial data for client billing (if applicable).

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of accounting experience in
    engineering, construction, or project-based environments
    .
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional drafting teams.
