We're looking for an Associate Lawyer with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience to join our expanding team. If you want to work on advanced legal matters, handle cross-border work, and be part of a fast-moving, non-traditional legal practice this role is for you.
What You'll Do
Corporate & Commercial Work
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements (SAFTs, SAFEs, shareholder agreements, SAAS agreements, licensing contracts, consultancy agreements, etc.).
- Handle corporate structuring, incorporations, share transfers, reorganisations, and governance matters across multiple jurisdictions (UAE, ADGM, DIFC, BVI, Cayman, Panama, etc.).
- Provide support on M&A transactions including due diligence, term sheets, SPA/SSA drafting, and closing processes.
Regulatory & Emerging Technology
- Advise on UAE regulatory frameworks including VARA, ADGM FSRA, DIFC DFSA, and other relevant authorities.
- Assist with regulatory applications, submissions, and client licensing processes.
- Draft legal opinions, memos, and compliance assessments for blockchain, fintech, tokenisation, and Web3 projects.
Client Advisory & Matter Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients on day-to-day queries.
- Prepare legal briefs, research notes, and concise advisory communications.
- Oversee matter timelines, deliverables, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Support partners with high-value or high-complexity matters when required.
Legal Operations & Team Support
- Supervise junior lawyers, trainees, and corporate administrators where needed.
- Ensure accurate document management, version control, and internal compliance.
- Contribute to the firm's thought leadership (articles, guides, and client updates).
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years PQE
in corporate, commercial, or law firm practice (UAE or international experience acceptable). - Law degree from a recognised university.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable handling clients independently and advising on a range of commercial matters.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong interest in emerging technology, fintech, or digital assets (or willingness to learn fast).
- Bonus: Experience with ADGM, DIFC, FSRA, DFSA, or VARA regulatory frameworks.
- Bonus: Exposure to startups, venture-capital work, or cross-border structuring.
