Public Relations Account Director

Viola Communications is looking for an experienced and dynamic
PR Account Director – Consumer Lead
to join our growing Public Relations team. This senior role will drive client excellence, business growth, and team leadership within our consumer practice shaping impactful stories and elevating some of the region's leading consumer brands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with consumer clients while ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Lead the strategic planning and execution of creative and insight-driven PR campaigns, monitoring performance and optimizing results.
• Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring smooth communication, issue resolution, and alignment across internal teams.
• Implement structured feedback loops with clients to refine strategies and enhance overall service quality.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the consumer sector, developing tailored pitches and proposals.
• Build long-term relationships with potential clients through networking and industry engagement.
• Collaborate closely with leadership on business development strategies aligned with growth objectives.
• Provide mentorship and strategic guidance to the consumer PR team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and high performance.
• Drive innovation within the practice, including the integration of AI tools to enhance campaign delivery and media engagement.
• Support team development through coaching, training, and capability-building initiatives.
• Maintain strong understanding of the UAE and GCC PR landscapes, consumer trends, and competitive market movements.
• Build and nurture relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure impactful coverage.
• Develop and manage targeted media relations strategies to boost brand visibility and consumer engagement.
• Lead integrated communication approaches that leverage digital tools and platforms for stronger consumer connection.
• Monitor consumer sentiment and market trends using analytics and AI to guide campaign decisions.
• Craft compelling, audience-focused narratives that strengthen brand affinity and deliver measurable engagement.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• 10+ years of PR experience, with deep expertise in the consumer sector.
• Proven ability to lead major accounts and deliver standout campaigns.
• Strong business development track record with success in pitching and client acquisition.
• Solid understanding of the UAE/GCC PR and consumer landscape.
• Experience using AI tools for insights, analytics, and media optimization.
• Exceptional communication skills (Arabic and/or English).
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and storytelling capabilities.
• Established media and influencer network within the consumer PR space.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build, innovate, and grow a practice.
