Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist – Wellbore Construction/Completions as part of supporting our South Gulf (Pakistan, Oman, Yemen & UAE) operations.

As a Field Specialist - WBC, you will be responsible for:

·       Running multiple low to medium risk applications in one or more product lines in the Wellbore Construction & Completions Product Group .

·       Expanding and applying application knowledge and expertise to include applications of increasing complexity and/or risk in Wellbore Construction and Liner Hanger

·       Ensuring supplied equipment is compatible with all other equipment used for job

·       Providing front-line support with customer and accurately completes all paperwork prior to or upon completion of job

·       Using experience and knowledge of applications to ensure products and services are of highest quality

·       Conducting on-the-job training for some Wellbore Construction/Completions applications as required

·       Be able to travel internationally to support other geographical regions if required.

·       Be able to support in workshop activities.

·       Ensures supplied equipment is compatible with all other equipment used for job. 

·       Provides front-line support with customer and accurately completes all paperwork prior to or upon completion of job.

·       Handles special projects as assigned. 

·       Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

·       Have a Bachelor Degree In engineering

·       Have at least 5 years experience in Liner Hanger/Completions.

·       Thorough knowledge of drilling and completion techniques and drilling/work over rig operations.

·       Have thorough mechanical and application proficiency with Wellbore Construction & completions products

·       Have an ability to work well and communicate well with others

·       Be able to work varied work schedule and be available for a 24 hour call out as necessary.
