Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and motivating Swimming Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching swimming techniques, developing training programs, and fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct swimming lessons or training sessions for various age groups and abilities.
- Teach proper swimming techniques, breathing methods, and water safety.
- Develop individualized and group training plans to improve performance and endurance.
- Monitor and assess swimmers' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and motivating atmosphere for all participants.
- Maintain accurate attendance and performance records.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and facility management.
- Enforce all pool safety rules and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a swimming coach, instructor, or lifeguard.
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and training methods.
- Certification in swimming instruction (e.g., ASCA, STA, or equivalent).
- Current CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certification (preferred).
- Excellent communication and motivational skills.
- Ability to work with children, teens, and adults in a positive and professional manner.
