We are looking for an experienced Marine Underwriter to lead and build AUAL's new
Marine (Hull & Cargo)
portfolio. The role covers Cargo (incl. project/ODC), Hull & Machinery, Yachts, and later Marine Liabilities (SRL, MOL, TOL, BAR, marinas/ports).

Key Responsibilities:


• Underwrite Hull, Cargo, and Yacht risks in line with technical pricing models


• Build and grow a profitable regional portfolio (GCC/MENA focus)


• Develop underwriting guidelines, processes, and rating tools


• Maintain strong broker/cedant relationships


• Manage capacity deployment and portfolio performance


• Support business planning, compliance, and reporting

Requirements:


• 8+ years marine underwriting experience (Hull & Cargo essential; Yachts/Liabs a plus)


• Strong GCC/MENA broker relationships


• Experience with binders / facilities advantageous


• Technically sound, analytical, and commercially driven


• Comfortable in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
