We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Syndicated Loans Agency Associate for a 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and gain in-depth experience in the specialized field of syndicated loan agency services.

About the Department:

Our Agency department provides critical facility and security agent services for syndicates of lenders. We act as the central point of contact, managing the entire lifecycle of syndicated loans on behalf of multiple banks. Our services include processing payments, monitoring borrower covenants, managing all loan and security documentation, and ensuring strict adherence to the terms of the facility agreement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payments Processing:
    Calculate payment amounts, prepare remittance instructions, and manage all payment flows through designated Agent accounts.
  • Covenant & Compliance Monitoring:
    Monitor and track borrower compliance with information undertakings and financial covenants. Ensure timely receipt and distribution of compliance certificates to the lender syndicate.
  • Security & Documentation Management:
    Maintain and manage various security instruments for multiple facilities. Coordinate with internal document management teams, lenders, and other parties for the safekeeping, creation, and release of security documents.
  • Stakeholder Liaison:
    Act as a key point of contact, liaising regularly with internal departments (Payments, Compliance, Risk, Relationship Banking) and external lenders to address inquiries and facilitate seamless transactions.
  • Account & Regulatory Compliance:
    Update and maintain KYC for various accounts and ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are fulfilled.
  • Service Delivery:
    Execute all Facility Agency and Security Agent functions to the highest standard, adhering to strict deadlines and fiduciary obligations with impartiality.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A Graduate degree.
  • Prior experience in payments processing and/or loan documentation is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a diligent, process-oriented approach.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-team, global environment.
  • Proficient in MS Excel for data management and calculations.
  • Possesses clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
