Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Trader to join our growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, executing trades, and contributing to the overall growth and success of our trading desk.

Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

Trade Execution:

Execute trades efficiently and effectively, ensuring optimal pricing and minimising risk.

Market Analysis:

Stay updated with market trends and developments, providing insights and recommendations to clients and the trading team.

Revenue Generation:

Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the firm's revenue growth.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the trading, risk management, and operations teams to ensure seamless trade execution and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

Experience:

Proven track record of 3+ years in commodity sales trading, with a strong focus on fmcg, raw materials or agricultural products.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, CFA) are a plus.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of commodity markets.

Technical Proficiency:

Proficiency in trading platforms and financial software, with a keen eye for detail and a results-driven mindset.

Regulatory Knowledge:

Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance procedures.
