As a Strategy Intern, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Strategy team in analysing market trends, competitors, and internal data to support the development and execution of strategic initiatives. You will work closely with the members of the Strategy & Growth team to drive informed decision-making that contributes to the long-term success of the organisation.

In this role, you will:

  • Help collate, sanitise, and organise business/competitive/industry data to provide management with information for decision-making and set the path for business growth;
  • Analyse data and determine relevant KPIs to help define areas of focus for further action;
  • Track and measure the implementation and performance of strategic initiatives;
  • Develop and maintain financial and business models;
  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, engineering or a related field
  • Prior experience in data modelling and big data analysis is advantageous
  • Knowledge in data analysis with proficiency in MS Office and PowerBI
  • Experience with presentation software;
  • Understanding of the Classifieds space;
  • Some SQL/coding experience
  • Big Data analysis skills;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Hands-on attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • Highly motivated professional with the ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a diverse group;
  • Highly driven to deliver results and work proactively with no supervision
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively
