Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Abu Dhabi for a Lifting Appointed Person. The Lifting Appointed Person will be responsible for ensuring all lifting operations are planned, managed, and executed safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include preparing risk assessments, lifting plans, and method statements, coordinating with crane operators and rigging teams, conducting pre-lift safety checks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. The individual will act as the key point of contact for lifting-related activities on-site and ensure all necessary equipment and permits are in place for operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of lifting operations, including risk assessments, lifting plans, and method statements.
  • Hands-on experience with coordinating, supervising, and managing crane operators, rigging teams, and lifting equipment.
  • Thorough knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements related to lifting activities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams on-site.
  • Relevant certifications such as Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) certification or equivalent qualifications are required.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, solve problems, and make decisions effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in construction or industrial projects is highly advantageous.

Mandatory Requirements:

LEEA Approved (non-negotiable)

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience

ADNOC approved

Valid UAE Driving License

Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
