Role Purpose:


• Responsible for managing the company's incoming payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with clients

Key Accountabilities:


• Generate and issue accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.


• Monitor and track incoming payments, ensuring they are applied correctly to customer accounts.


• Follow up on overdue accounts and communicate with clients to resolve payment discrepancies.


• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.


• Prepare and send monthly statements to clients.


• Process and record incoming payments via check, credit card, and electronic transfers.


• Verify and apply cash receipts to appropriate customer accounts.


• Investigate and resolve any payment discrepancies or issues.


• Maintain positive relationships with clients by addressing billing inquiries and resolving payment issues promptly.


• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.


• Communicate with clients to ensure timely payment and resolve any disputes.


• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging reports, and collection efforts.


• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts receivable.


• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.


• Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts receivable transactions.


• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and support.


• Manage payroll accounting, including booking and reconciliation.


• Perform journal entries and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.


• Prepare ad-hoc reports for the Finance Manager.

Desired Candidate Profile


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).


• 3 – 4 years' experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar role.


• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.


• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.


• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Excellent interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
