We are looking for a proficient and compassionate Cardiac Surgeon to join our esteemed healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients suffering from heart disease through complex surgical procedures. The successful candidate will demonstrate an unwavering commitment to clinical excellence and patient care while working closely with other specialists in our state-of-the-art facilities.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients and develop individualized surgical treatment plans.
  • Execute a variety of cardiac procedures, including but not limited to coronary artery bypass surgery, valve replacement, and heart transplant surgeries.
  • Collaborate effectively with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment options, surgical risks, and expected recovery timelines.
  • Engage in continuous education to stay abreast of the latest advancements in cardiac surgery.
  • Participate in research activities aimed at improving surgical procedures and patient outcomes.
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation for all patient interactions and surgical cases in compliance with medical regulations.
Requirements
Requirements:
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of residency in General Surgery followed by a fellowship in Cardiac Surgery.
  • Board certification in Cardiac Surgery is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of surgical experience in a cardiac surgery setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of various cardiac surgical techniques and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions.
  • Ability to make critical decisions and maintain composure in high-pressure environments.
  • Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
