Job Summary:

The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing construction activities on site, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, and according to specifications. The role involves supervising workers, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:Site Management

· Supervise daily on-site activities and ensure work is carried out according to project plans.

· Coordinate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and workers to ensure smooth operations.

· Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.

· Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, attendance, and material usage.

Quality & Compliance

· Ensure construction work meets technical specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

· Conduct regular inspections to identify defects or deviations and implement corrective measures.

· Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

· Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for workers.

Team Supervision & Coordination

· Assign tasks to site workers and ensure proper execution.

· Provide guidance, training, and support to workers as needed.

· Resolve on-site issues, conflicts, and challenges effectively.

· Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure material availability.

Reporting & Documentation

· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.

· Record labor, equipment, and material usage.

· Report project status, delays, and issues to the Project Manager.

· Maintain proper documentation of permits, approvals, and inspection reports.

Skills & Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in construction projects.

· Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.

· Familiarity with health and safety regulations in construction.

Qualifications:

· Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

· 3–7 years of experience in construction supervision.

· Certification in site safety or relevant construction management courses is an advantage.

· Knowledge of project management tools and reporting methods.
