Human Resources Officer – Training & Employee Development Specialist

Department: Support Services / Human Resources

Location: Abu Dhabi

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree

Experience Required: Minimum 4 years UAE experience

Preferred: Arabic speakers with experience in UAE government entities or non-profit organizations

Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and proactive Human Resources Officer – Training & Employee Development Specialist to join our Support Services team. This role is instrumental in driving a culture of continuous learning, skill development, and organizational growth. Arabic-speaking candidates with prior experience in UAE government or non-profit sectors are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assess training and development needs across departments via performance evaluations and consultation with managers

-Assist in developing and implementing annual training plans aligned with strategic objectives

-Design, execute, and manage effective training programs and workshops (in-house or via external partners)

-Ensure training content is relevant, tailored, and up-to-date

-Coordinate training logistics—venues, schedules, materials, and trainers

-Deliver internal training sessions and manage external trainer engagement

-Support employees in creating and executing individual development plans (IDPs)

-Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics

-Provide regular reports and recommendations to enhance training strategies

-Engage with external training providers and manage contracts within budget

-Maintain comprehensive training records, certificates, and invoices

-Contribute to leadership development, succession planning, and career pathing initiatives

-Foster a culture of ongoing learning and professional growth

-Ensure compliance with internal policies and UAE labor regulations in all training efforts

-Update training policies and procedures as needed

-Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management on training impact and outcomes

Ideal Candidate Profile:

-Bachelor's degree holder in Human Resources, Education, or a related field

-Strong background in employee learning, development, and performance improvement

-Excellent communication and facilitation skills

-Experience working in or with UAE government entities or non-profit organizations (preferred)

-Fluent in Arabic (preferred)

-Proficient in managing training systems, tools, and evaluation metrics

-Organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about employee growth
