SENIOR MECHANICAL (GENERATOR) ENGINEER (PI-PP)

Job Description & Responsibilities

The Senior Mechanical (Generator) Engineer will be responsible for providing cost-effective, timely, and efficient support while ensuring safety and compliance with the Company's policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare bidding documents, evaluate bids, conduct clarifications, and hold meetings.
  • Review designs and engineering drawings.
  • Supervise installation and commissioning activities related to gas turbine generators and compressor systems, including installation, replacement, operation, and maintenance for ongoing and future projects.
  • Assess existing facilities' remaining lifetime and confirm operational risks of existing generator systems.

Special Competencies

  • Engineering experience in FEED & EPC projects, with focus on generator engineering.
  • Mechanical design, equipment installation, commissioning, and maintenance.

Job-Specific Requirements

  • Strong knowledge and experience in gas turbine generator engineering & installation (
    mandatory
    ).
  • Experience with process operation systems and technology in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Solid understanding of Mechanical engineering principles.
  • Excellent understanding of complete gas turbine generator packages (electrical & rotating) and compressor systems.
  • Knowledge of multi-disciplinary engineering, including process, piping, and instrumentation.

Key Areas of Experience

  • Gas turbine generator packages (
    mandatory
    ).
  • Compressor packages.
  • ADNOC project experience related to gas turbine generators.
  • Tender preparation and contract management.

Additional Requirements

  • Engineering experience for new or replacement gas turbine generator and compressor projects as a Mechanical (Rotating) Engineer.
  • Prior experience as an Engineer in gas turbine generator and compressor OEM/vendor environment.
