Universal BIM & CAD Technical Services LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Plumbing AutoCAD Draughtsman to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate plumbing shop drawings in compliance with project specifications, UAE authority regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed plumbing shop drawings using AutoCAD, including water supply, drainage, sewer, storm water, and pump room layouts
  • Coordinate plumbing layouts with architectural, structural, HVAC, and electrical drawings
  • Develop plans, sections, isometrics, details, and schedules as per project requirements
  • Review and incorporate consultant, client, and authority comments into revised drawings
  • Ensure all drawings comply with UAE local authority standards and approved project specifications
  • Provide drawing clarifications, revisions, and as-built drawings to support site teams
  • Maintain proper drawing documentation, revisions, and version control
  • Assist with material take-offs and quantity calculations when required

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred)
  • 2–4 years of UAE experience as a Plumbing AutoCAD Draughtsman
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and installation practices
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit knowledge is an added advantage)
  • Ability to read and interpret MEP, architectural, and structural drawings
  • Familiar with plumbing shop drawing standards and MEP coordination practices
  • Good communication, coordination, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
  • Immediate joiners preferred
