We are looking for an experienced 
Civil Estimation Engineer
 with a minimum of 2 years of Middle East experience to join our team in Abu Dhabi. If you are detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled in preparing accurate civil estimates, we want to hear from you.

 Job Summary

The Civil Estimation Engineer supports the full tendering cycle for civil and infrastructure projects. The role involves detailed review of tender drawings, specifications, Scope of Work (SOW), and site conditions to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates. You will analyze construction methodologies, material requirements, productivity norms, subcontractor inputs, and project risks to deliver high-quality tender submissions.

 Key Responsibilities


• Analyze tender drawings, SOW, and specifications to determine complete civil scope and associated risks.


• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for excavation, concrete, rebar, blockwork, waterproofing, pavements, finishing, and utilities.


• Develop comprehensive cost estimates for materials, equipment, manpower, and subcontractor elements.


• Evaluate subcontractor quotations for compliance, prepare comparison sheets, and negotiate pricing.


• Prepare tender documentation including pricing schedules, clarifications, risk assessments, and cost summaries.

 Skills & Competencies


• Strong understanding of civil construction materials, practices, and local methodologies.


• Expertise in quantity take-off, unit rate analysis, and cost benchmarking.


• Advanced analytical and Excel modelling skills.


• Strong subcontractor evaluation and negotiation capabilities.


• Excellent documentation and technical communication skills.

 Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in civil/mechanical engineering
