Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, corridors, and service areas to ensure the highest standards of comfort and hygiene. The role requires attention to detail, time management, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and arrange guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and replenishing amenities.
  • Replace used towels and linens with clean ones and ensure proper disposal of waste and used items.
  • Refill supplies such as toiletries, water bottles, and stationery in guest rooms.
  • Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and promptly report any damages or malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness of corridors, service pantries, and housekeeping trolleys.
  • Ensure all assigned rooms are completed on time and meet the required quality standards.
  • Handle guests' requests courteously and professionally.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
  • Adhere to hotel policies regarding lost and found items.
  • Cooperate with other departments (Front Office, Engineering, Laundry) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in training sessions and departmental meetings when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management abilities.
  • Physically fit to perform cleaning duties.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent guest service.

Working Conditions:

  • Requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing housekeeping carts.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED AED1,000.00 per month
