Job Purpose:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Zand Bank, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of banking products through rigorous testing, automation, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, robust, and flawless digital banking experiences for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
  • Create, document, and maintain manual and automated test cases, along with related test artifacts.
  • Actively participate in planning and executing system integration testing, regression, and smoke testing across multiple applications.
  • Proactively identify and implement enhancements to quality assurance processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with developers and users to optimize testing, defect isolation, and defect tracking
  • Identify all potential issues and ensure that they are corrected before the product goes live.

Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript, or a similar test automation framework and language.
  • Proficiency with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured)
  • Clear understanding of the system architecture principles.
  • Adept with common programming languages.

Functional & Domain Requirements:

  • Corporate Banking digital channels (Web/Mobile):
    entitlements, maker–checker, multi-level approvals, limits, audit trail flows.
  • Payment's domain:
    end-to-end lifecycle (initiation → validation/screening → posting/settlement → status/returns), including bulk/payroll and beneficiary/template journeys.
  • Banking compliance domain:
    AML/CFT & sanctions screening touchpoints, regulatory control requirements impacting transaction flows and approvals.
  • Core/payment platform integration:
    E2E functional validation across channel → services/APIs → core banking/payment hub, including cut-offs and exception handling.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 5 years' experience in quality assurance/software testing, with at least 3 years dedicated to the fintech and banking industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
  • ISTQB Foundation level or similar.

Good to have

  • Performance testing using K6, Gatlin or similar tools
