We are a leading Building Maintenance and Decor company in the UAE, specializing in diverse construction and fit-out projects. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Steel Fabricator to join our dedicated team.

Job Description:

We are looking for a proficient and meticulous Steel Fabricator with a strong background in creating a variety of custom steel structures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fabricating items such as doors, shades, handrails, and elements for building extensions. A critical aspect of this role involves the ability to accurately calculate and request necessary steel materials and to precisely read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and weld various steel structures and components, including custom doors, sun shades, decorative and functional handrails, and structural elements for building extensions.
• Accurately read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications to understand project requirements and dimensions.
• Calculate and determine the required quantities and types of steel materials (e.g., sheets, beams, pipes, rebar) for each project, and prepare precise material requests.
• Cut, bend, shape, and punch steel materials using appropriate machinery and hand tools (e.g., cutting torches, grinders, drills, welding equipment).
• Perform various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Arc) to join steel components securely and with high-quality finishes.
• Assemble fabricated steel structures according to design specifications, ensuring proper alignment and structural integrity.
• Conduct quality checks on all fabricated items to ensure they meet specified dimensions, tolerances, and aesthetic standards.
• Install finished steel products on-site as required, ensuring secure and safe integration.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during fabrication and installation processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper maintenance of tools and equipment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Steel Fabricator in the UAE, with a strong portfolio showcasing work on doors, shades, handrails, and building extension components.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate material requirements and generate precise steel material requests.
• Essential proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering and architectural drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of various steel types, their properties, and appropriate fabrication techniques.
• Expertise in different welding processes and equipment.
• Proficient in using a wide range of fabrication tools and machinery.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in all fabrication tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.

Working Hours:

9 hours per day, 1 day off per week.

• شهادة هندسة مدنية معتمدة في دولة الامارات (مفضل)
