Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and supporting management with financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
  • Handle VAT filing, returns, and compliance with UAE regulations.
  • Supervise junior accountants and ensure accuracy of their work.
  • Support external audits and liaise with auditors when required.
  • Analyze financial data and provide management with reports and recommendations.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or ACCA qualification is an advantage).
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and UAE VAT laws.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
