Universal BIM & CAD Technical Services LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HVAC AutoCAD Draughtsman to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate HVAC shop drawings in accordance with project specifications, local authority requirements, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed HVAC shop drawings using AutoCAD, including ducting, chilled water, VRF, ventilation, and equipment layouts
  • Coordinate HVAC drawings with architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing disciplines
  • Develop plans, sections, details, and schedules as per project requirements
  • Review and incorporate consultant, client, and authority comments into revised drawings
  • Ensure compliance with Dubai authority regulations, codes, and approved standards
  • Provide drawing clarifications and updates to site teams during construction stages
  • Maintain proper documentation, drawing revisions, and version control
  • Assist with quantity take-offs and material schedules when required

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
  • 2–4 years of UAE experience as an HVAC AutoCAD Draughtsman
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, duct design, and installation practices
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (basic knowledge of Revit is an added advantage)
  • Familiar with HVAC shop drawing standards and MEP coordination practices
  • Ability to read and interpret MEP, architectural, and structural drawings
  • Good communication, coordination, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight project deadlines
  • Immediate joiners preferred
