We're hiring a hands-on, PE Coach & Program Coordinator to run our programmes across partner nurseries, manage day-to-day partner queries, and deliver fast, practical fixes on the spot. This is a delivery-and-relationship role — you'll coach, coordinate and report.

Core responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality PE sessions across early years and primary settings (EYFS–KS1)
  • Coordinate schedules, visits, and schedules for a team of coaches deployed across multiple nurseries
  • Be the first point of contact for partner nurseries — handle queries, complaints, and on-site issues professionally and quickly
  • Report weekly to management on programme performance, partner feedback, coaching quality, safeguarding concerns, and any escalations
  • Implement immediate, practical fixes during visits (covering lessons, behaviour, resourcing, or parent concerns) and log actions taken
  • Mentor and develop junior coaches through observation, feedback, and CPD sessions
  • Maintain safeguarding, first aid, and quality assurance standards across all partner sites

Key skills and experience

  • Bachelor's in Physical Education, Sports Coaching or equivalent; relevant coaching qualifications essential
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in coaching and programme coordination, preferably with nursery or school partnerships
  • Proven track record managing multiple sites or a mobile coaching team
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills; confident handling partner queries directly
  • Practical problem-solver who can make decisive on-the-spot fixes and document outcomes
  • Current First Aid and safeguarding training; DBS or equivalent preferred
  • At least 1 specialist subject from Football, Basketball, Gymnastics or Tennis.

  • Coaches deployed on time, delivering consistent, curriculum-aligned sessions across partner nurseries
  • Rapid, professional resolution of partner queries with clear follow-up and reporting to management
  • Clear, actionable weekly reports that highlight wins, risks, and next steps
  • Measurable improvement in coaching quality and partner satisfaction over 3–6 months
  • Delivery of High Quality Physical Education.
