Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Facilities Maintenance Technician located in Dubai. The technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing building systems, performing regular inspections, and ensuring equipment is in optimal working condition. Routine tasks include troubleshooting technical issues, conducting preventative maintenance, addressing facility-related repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The role also requires prompt attention to facility-related concerns and effective collaboration with other departments.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC systems, and plumbing for maintenance and repair tasks
  • General troubleshooting skills and ability to conduct routine building inspections
  • Understanding of safety standards and compliance requirements
  • Basic knowledge of tools and processes used in facility repairs and maintenance
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills for completing tasks efficiently
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and other departments
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative when addressing facility issues
  • Prior experience in a facilities maintenance role is preferred
  • Vocational training or certifications in relevant technical fields are a plus
