Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with colon and rectal disorders, including cancers, inflammatory conditions, and injuries.
  • Perform a range of surgical procedures, including minimally invasive techniques, for treatments such as colectomies and rectal resections.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans for each patient based on clinical assessments and diagnostic results.
  • Collaborate effectively with other medical professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor and manage patients' recovery in the postoperative setting, addressing complications as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all patient interactions and treatments.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution with specialization in General Surgery and additional training in Colon and Rectal Surgery.
  • Board certification in Colon and Rectal Surgery.
  • Current medical license to practice in the Gulf region.
  • Extensive experience in performing a variety of colon and rectal surgical procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of gastrointestinal anatomy and surgical techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster patient relationships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
