Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution engineering through design, deploy, and maintain enterprise infrastructure systems, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms.
  • Administer and optimize Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and group policies.
  • Manage, diagnose, and monitor networking infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
  • Deploy and manage on-perm and on-cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, hybrid) across AWS and Azure environments.
  • Implement and manage virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure network and data security through proper configurations, monitoring tools, and incident response.
  • Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to support infrastructure such as code (IaC) and automation initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation and diagrams for infrastructure architecture, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and security threats, recommending improvements as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems design and deployment, administration, and networking.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewall configuration, and enterprise-level routing/switching.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or both (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Azure VMs, Azure AD, etc.).
  • Proven expertise with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and penetration testing tools (e.g., Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite).
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • GIS/Esri software knowledge is a plus.

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect / SysOps Administrator
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • Cisco CCNA
  • CompTIA Security+ or CASP+
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
