Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the pool area and enforce safety regulations to prevent accidents

  • Respond quickly to emergencies, providing immediate medical attention and administering CPR or first aid as needed

  • Maintain a clean and organized pool area, including setting up and storing equipment

  • Keep accurate records of pool usage, incidents, and rescues

  • Interact with patrons in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and providing assistance as required

  • Participate in regular training and drills to stay up-to-date with rescue techniques and protocols

  • Report any maintenance issues or unsafe conditions to the appropriate personnel

Qualifications:

  • Current Lifeguard certification from a recognized organization

  • First Aid and CPR certification

  • Strong swimming skills and physical fitness

  • Excellent observational and communication abilities

  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations

  • Prior lifeguarding experience preferred, but not required

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
