Position : Finishes Inspector

Location: Dubai

Industry: Engineering Consultancy / High Rise Building

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is required.
  • 7–10 years of experience in finishes inspection or related construction fields, preferably within the UAE.
  • Strong understanding of finishing works, including architectural, interior, and fit-out elements.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, finishing materials, quality standards, and local building regulations.
  • Proven ability to review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings related to finishing works.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using relevant inspection tools and reporting systems.
  • Prior experience working with an engineering consultancy in Dubai is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspection and Compliance: Conduct on-site inspections to ensure that Finishing activities adhere to project specifications, approved drawings, and relevant codes and standards.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and assess the quality of workmanship, materials, and Finishing methods to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate inspection records, including daily reports, photos, and any deviations from project specifications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address and resolve any issues related to construction quality and compliance.
  • Consultancy Experience: Apply your consultancy background to provide valuable insights and recommendations for optimizing construction processes.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on construction progress, highlighting any deviations or potential risks to project timelines.
