The Role

We're searching for a Head of Finance & Investments
who can build the financial backbone of WYLE from the ground up.

This isn't a "reporting and bookkeeping" role.

This is about turning vision into numbers, building investor-grade models, shaping our funding strategy, and making sure every move we make is financially coherent, scalable, and fundable.

You'll own everything from unit economics and revenue projections to fundraising support, SAFE modeling, and early FP&A. You'll work closely with the Founder, Product, Tech, Strategy, BD, and Marketing to make sure WYLE's decisions are backed by reality, not vibes.

This is a founding-level position. You'll be part of the core leadership driving us toward our pre-seed funding round, working for equity until funding closes, followed by a competitive salary and full benefits.

You Will

• Build and own WYLE's full financial model across food delivery, quick commerce, mobility, and future verticals.
• Translate the vision and operating model into clear unit economics, contribution margins, and pathway-to-profitability scenarios.
• Design and maintain 24–36 month revenue, cost, and cash flow projections with best/base/worst-case views.
• Support the founder directly with fundraising: dilution scenarios, investor Q&A prep, and financial storytelling.
• Structure and refine our capital plan for the fundraising rounds.
• Work closely with Product & Tech to model cost-to-serve, fleet/logistics economics, and scalability of the platform.
• Partner with BD and Marketing to model merchant onboarding, CAC, LTV, retention, and incentives.
• Set up early FP&A and operational finance rhythms: burn tracking, runway monitoring, dashboards, and basic controls.
• Contribute to ESOP thinking, equity allocation logic, and long-term finance org design.
• Represent Finance in leadership discussions on launch plans, vertical rollouts, pricing, and investor conversations.

You Are

• A strategic finance operator (8-12 years) with experience in FP&A, PE/VC, investment banking, startup finance, or a mix of these.
• Someone who has built or heavily owned a financial model for a marketplace, delivery, mobility, or consumer tech business (or something very similar).
• Comfortable moving from high-level funding strategy down to cell-level modelling in Sheets/Excel.
• Strong in unit economics, forecasting, scenario planning, and understanding how product/ops decisions hit the P&L.
• Able to work with incomplete data and refine assumptions as we learn from the market.
• A clear, confident communicator who can explain numbers to non-finance people without jargon.
• Used to working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where new information can change direction.
• Someone who treats capital as a weapon, not a cushion, is disciplined, resourceful, and honest about risk.
• Genuinely excited by equity and long-term upside, not just a fixed monthly paycheck.
• Based in Dubai.

Compensation

In this phase, we're honest and upfront:

• This role is equity-only until our pre-seed round closes.
• Once funding is in, this converts into a competitive salary and benefits, with meaningful equity remaining.
• If you need a guaranteed salary from day one, this will not be the right fit.
