As part of our digital transformation initiative, we are expanding our technology division to enhance automation, data integration, and operational efficiency across all business functions.

We are seeking a talented Senior Odoo Developer to lead the development, customization, and optimization of our ERP ecosystem — shaping the digital foundation that powers our growing enterprise.

Position Overview

The Senior Odoo Developer will oversee the end-to-end design, configuration, and deployment of Odoo ERP modules. This role requires an innovative technologist with deep Odoo experience, strong business acumen, and the ability to translate operational needs into scalable system solutions.

You'll collaborate directly with department heads, software engineers, and executives to ensure Odoo fully supports RSL's operations, from fleet and HR to finance and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Development & Customization

  • Develop, customize, and deploy Odoo modules for Fleet Management, HR, CRM, Finance, and Operations.
  • Automate complex workflows and implement advanced business logic for efficiency.
  • Develop both backend (Python) and frontend (XML/QWeb/JavaScript) components.

Requirements Gathering & Solution Design

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business needs and pain points.
  • Translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions aligned with best practices.

Workflow Optimization & Reporting

  • Create and enhance user interfaces for improved UX/UI.
  • Build dashboards, KPI trackers, and real-time management reports.

System Integration

  • Integrate Odoo with third-party applications such as GPS, HRMS, and payment gateways.
  • Ensure seamless data synchronization, performance, and security across systems.

Performance, Security & Compliance

  • Maintain optimal system performance, scalability, and data security.
  • Implement automated backups, access controls, and compliance with data protection standards.

Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Troubleshoot issues, apply patches, and provide technical support to end users.
  • Maintain structured documentation for all customizations, modules, and integrations.
  • Stay up to date with Odoo's latest releases and emerging ERP technologies.

Candidate Profile

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Odoo certification or equivalent professional accreditation (preferred).

Technical Expertise

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and customizing Odoo ERP systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Odoo ORM, PostgreSQL, XML, QWeb, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with RESTful API integrations, Git version control, and Docker environments.
  • Familiar with frontend and backend Odoo architecture.

Preferred Background

  • Experience within transportation, logistics, or service-based industries.
  • Exposure to DevOps pipelines, CI/CD processes, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
