About the Job

The Finance Transformation Lead will spearhead the strategic redesign and optimization of financial processes within the hospitality shared services environment. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, implementing best practices, and driving technological advancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in financial operations. This role goes beyond traditional finance by integrating technology, process optimization, and change leadership to ensure financial operations are agile, compliant, and value-driven.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive finance transformation strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Develop and roll out a multi-year transformation roadmap for finance processes across hotel entities.
• Align transformation objectives with corporate strategy, operational excellence, and owner expectations.
• Lead process re-engineering initiatives for accounts payable, receivable, payroll, general ledger, and reporting functions.
• Introduce standardized processes across multi-brand hotel operations, balancing IHG/Vintage Collection standards with Aldar Hospitality's corporate requirements.
• Implement shared service efficiencies to reduce redundancies and optimize costs.
• Ensure system integrations support front-office, reservations, and property management systems (PMS) to improve financial visibility.
• Collaborate with IT and other business units to implement financial systems, automation, and data analytics tools.
• Act as a change champion, driving communication and training for finance teams during transformation.
• Manage resistance to change with proactive communication, workshops, and clear success metrics.
• Manage change management processes, including stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Monitor KPIs to assess the impact of transformation initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Continuously monitor process improvements to ensure sustainability and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to finance teams during transition phases.
• Drive innovation to streamline operations and enhance data-driven decision-making.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting Technology focused on the application of technology in accounting, or related field; master's preferred.
• Proven experience in finance process improvement, transformation, or shared service centers, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of financial systems (ERP, BPM tools), automation, and data analytics.
• Exceptional project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
