Responsibilities:

Design and implement inquiry-based learning experiences in line with the Science curriculum.

Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and scientific rigor in students.

Guide students in conducting experiments, science projects, and research work.

Provide personalized support to help students achieve academic success and reach their full potential.

Collaborate closely with teachers of other disciplines to encourage interdisciplinary connections.

Support students in preparation for internal assessments, including practical work, projects, and the Internal Assessment (IA) component where applicable.

Raise awareness among students about ethical, environmental, and contemporary scientific issues.

Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom climate that respects diversity.

Maintain regular, constructive communication with parents.

Propose and develop innovative science teaching projects.

Promote and uphold the educational values of LFBI ICE.

Actively participate in the pedagogical life of the school and in collaborative work with colleagues.

Desired Candidate Profile

University degree, Master s, or postgraduate qualification recognized for teaching Sciences (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) at secondary level according to the French curriculum, or English-medium equivalent.

Proven expertise in the discipline(s) taught, with strong command of the scientific and experimental approach.

Flexible teaching methods and a strong student-centered approach.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in French; strong command of English is highly desirable given the school s bilingual context.

Ability to maintain high academic standards for both oneself and students.

Capacity to deliver science teaching that is rigorous, engaging, concrete, and stimulating.

Willingness and ability to teach across multiple grade levels.
