Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commis I and Commis II to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will support daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality, and maintain high hygiene standards while working under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking according to recipes and standards
  • Support Chef de Partie / Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
  • Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, equipment, and storage areas
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times
  • Assist with stock rotation and proper storage (FIFO)
  • Work efficiently during peak service hours

Requirements

  • Previous experience as Commis I or similar role preferred
  • Basic cooking skills and kitchen knowledge
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Team player with good communication skills
