DFS Aviation Services are currently looking for a highly motivated and qualified Tower/Aerodrome or Approach Air Traffic Controllers to join our team in Dubai, UAE. If selected, you will manage and control air traffic service ensuring a safe, orderly and expeditious flow of traffic for all aircraft operating within the assigned areas of responsibility.

This role will be based in Dubai International Airport (DXB) or Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), at Dubai Air Navigation Services (DANS). Dans provides air navigation services at four airports in the UAE, one of which is the world's busiest airport for international passengers, where their mission is to empower and develop all their people in delivering world-leading air navigation services that exceed every standard, assure their customers, and shape global innovation.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage air traffic flow and provide operators with slot allocation information as required, to avoid congestion within or beyond dans' assigned areas of responsibility.

• Co-ordinate with the appropriate external agencies correctly and in a timely manner, including but not limited to adjacent ATCUs, UAE military and Airside Operations.

• Adhere to regularity reporting of safety incident (ROSI) requirements, ensuring that the information provided is accurate, unambiguous, and complete.

• Contribute to an atmosphere of trust in which people are encouraged to report safety related issues without the risk of punishment for actions, omissions or decisions taken by them which are commensurate with their experience and training but where gross negligence, willful violations and destructive acts are not tolerated.

Your Qualifications

• A validated ATC Licence with an Aerodrome/Tower or Approach Radar rating

• Ideally 3 years of experience in exercising that rating at a major International Airport

• Comprehensive knowledge of ATC procedures and standards

• Knowledge of aviation safety management systems

• At least ICAO Level 4 in English proficiency

• A valid Class 3 ATC Medical Certificate
