Deal Drive is a Dubai-based global platform revolutionizing how used car dealerships operate. We integrate market analytics, operational tools, and scalable inventory financing to help dealers optimize their stock, buy better, price smarter, sell faster and grow their business.

We are currently expanding in the UAE and looking for an
Operations Manager

to ensure seamless dealer transactions, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Excellence & Process Optimization

  • Organize and oversee the day-to-day execution of the co-buying operational cycle.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase transaction speed and efficiency.
  • Ensure seamless cross-functional coordination between Finance, IT, Logistics, and Field Operations.

2. Team Leadership & Management

  • Directly manage the team of Automotive Operations Coordinators, providing clear task setting and performance monitoring.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, mentoring, and onboarding for new team members.
  • Ensure high-quality execution of field tasks (RTA transactions, vehicle inspections, and document collection).

3. Financial Control & Risk Management

  • Monitor transaction cash flows and ensure timely payments and settlements.
  • Manage inventory turnover, preventing "aging" stock and ensuring optimal capital rotation.
  • Enforce strict compliance with Deal Drive's policies, licensing, and insurance requirements.
  • Oversee the handling of financial instruments (LPOs, cheques, deposits) to minimize operational risks.

4. Business Reporting & Analysis

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) of the co-buying unit.
  • Maintain operational transparency for the leadership team through CRM/DMS and analytical dashboards.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex operational issues with key dealer partners.

Requirements

Work Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the Automotive, Fintech, or Logistics sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling operational teams (3+ subordinates).
  • Experience in the UAE market, with a solid understanding of RTA procedures and dealership operations.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong financial literacy and ability to work with business analytics.
  • Proficiency in CRM/DMS systems and advanced reporting tools (Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Personal Qualities

  • Systems thinking and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the operational block.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment.

Additional Requirements

  • Must own a personal car for mobility.
  • Fluent in English (Fluent); Arabic (Desirable)
  • Background in automotive or banking operations, dealership operations, or financial services is an advantage
