Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
Electrical BIM Modeller
with a strong background in the
MEP construction field
. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing
shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings
, using advanced BIM and CAD software platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and manage
    Electrical BIM models
    in coordination with other MEP disciplines.
  • Prepare
    detailed shop drawings
    and
    as-built drawings
    as per project requirements and standards.
  • Coordinate with design engineers, site teams, and other BIM disciplines to ensure accurate integration.
  • Review and resolve
    clash detections
    using
    Navisworks
    .
  • Maintain drawing accuracy, standards, and ensure deliverables are submitted on schedule.
  • Upload and manage BIM data and models on
    BIM 360
    or other project platforms.
  • Support design changes, revisions, and technical documentation as required.
  • Assist in improving BIM workflows and maintaining model quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in
    Electrical / MEP Engineering
    or related field.
  • Minimum
    3 years of experience
    in MEP construction projects.
  • Proficient in
    AutoCAD
    and
    Revit MEP
    .
  • Knowledge of
    BIM 360
    and
    Navisworks
    is required.
  • Familiarity with other design software (e.g., Dynamo, Navisworks Manage, or similar) is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of
    MEP coordination, construction drawings, and electrical systems
    .
  • Flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in
    UAE or GCC MEP projects
    .
  • Knowledge of
    MEP standards, codes, and regulations
    .

Ability to adapt to new technologies and workflows in BIM

Salary : 5000AED
