Material Engineer

- The Material Engineer shall be responsible for monitoring and controlling the screening of excavated materials intended for use as Road Base A7 and Subbase, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, approved standards, and relevant authority requirements. The role includes supervising material processing activities, reviewing grading and quality, and ensuring that only approved materials are utilized in the works.
- The Material Engineer shall coordinate sampling, testing, and inspection of materials through approved laboratories, review test results, and prepare material submittals and technical reports for approval. He shall identify non-conforming materials, implement corrective actions, and ensure proper handling, stockpiling, and use of approved materials in accordance with approved method statements and QA/QC procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred for advanced roles.
- Minimum of 4-7 years of hands-on experience in material testing and analysis within a relevant industrial setting.
- Professional certification in materials engineering or related fields, such as Certified Materials Engineer (CME), is a plus.
- Experience in the material testing, screening and crushers.
