Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service, processing transactions efficiently, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and answer any questions they may have.
  • Operate cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale equipment.
  • Accurately process cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
  • Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area.
  • Balance cash drawer at beginning and end of shift.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve complaints professionally.
  • Inform customers about current promotions and loyalty programs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle transactions accurately.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
