Position Overview

The Middle Office Analyst role with Achieve Group in Dubai supports a reputable oil and gas trading firm expanding its risk and middle office operations. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong numerical background who are looking to build long-term expertise in energy trading risk management, trade control, and exposure monitoring within a dynamic commodities environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate records for physical trades and hedging derivatives
  • Manage daily profit and loss reporting and market risk exposure tracking
  • Reconcile futures hedge positions, margin calls, and broker statements
  • Oversee credit risk monitoring and internal compliance requirements
  • Prepare regular risk, exposure, and performance reports for management
  • Support enhancements and improvements to the ETRM trading system
  • Coordinate with front office, operations, and finance teams to ensure data accuracy
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and trading risk policies
